I’m Michael Deeley — a finish carpenter and furniture specialist with a passion for creating work that’s solid, refined, and built with care. With years of experience across finish carpentry, furniture manufacturing, and high-quality spray finishing, I take pride in delivering clean detailing and polished results that stand the test of time. My approach is simple: work with precision, communicate clearly, and always finish strong.

Originally from the UK, I now call Australia home and am based just south of Brisbane. I’m hoping to secure employment with sponsorship so I can continue building a future here and stay in Australia with my young family — something that means a great deal to me.

I bring a balance of workshop craftsmanship and onsite expertise, allowing me to understand not just how things are built, but how they should feel once they’re finished. Clients know me as reliable, easy to work with, and genuinely committed to getting every detail right.

Away from the tools, I’m someone who thrives on challenge and movement. I spent 32 years racing motocross — including 10 years professionally — and that competitive drive still fuels me today. I’m passionate about health and fitness, enjoy e-mountain biking, play soccer, and keep the rhythm going behind a drum kit. These interests keep me sharp, focused, and always pushing for better — qualities I bring into my work every day.
